Dr Janet Preuss is an experienced scientist, entrepreneur and director. She has a biomedical background, with a PhD in Pharmacology, business qualifications obtained through an MBA (Advanced), as well as holding a CPA qualification. 

Janet has over 20 years’ experience in the commercialisation of new therapeutic products including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, IVDs, biologics, software applications, OTCs and complementary products. She has extensive experience in establishing and managing quality management systems and in writing regulatory submissions, grant applications, clinical trial documentation, business plans and other documentation for companies. She has successfully taken a number of products through Australian, US, European, Canadian and New Zealand regulatory approval processes. 

As an entrepreneur, Janet has founded two companies of her own that provide services to the biotechnology industry, namely consultancy services to assist companies in the commercialisation of their products (QRC Solutions), and the provision of recruitment services (Biotech Recruitment Consultants), and is currently working on a number of website-based businesses relevant to the broader biotechnology industry. In addition to her consulting and management roles, Janet is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and has significant governance, risk and global strategy expertise gained through a number of Board roles.
