A Certified Practising Portfolio Executive, Bart also holds a postgraduate qualification in Strategic Procurement, is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Justice of the Peace in WA.

Bart has extensive experience on projects ranging from the Perth Convention Centre (2003) to Elizabeth Quay (2019) and including most of the biggest public buildings and redevelopment projects built in the Perth metropolitan area.

Bart has also worked in senior executive roles in the private sector; as project lead on Chevron’s new headquarters, State Manager for Coffey Projects and as Chief Operating Officer of MacroPlan Australia. Bart has been Deputy Chairman of Gumala Enterprises Pty Ltd, a Non-Executive Director of the Geraldton Port Authority, Food Rescue, Chairman of Viatorés cum Christo; and a member of the Shark Bay World Heritage Community Consultative Committee.

Professionally, Bart is “Program Director – Governance” at the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage. Personally, he is married, with two grown up daughters and a grandson.
